1. Break a Fast

The 1st way I would recommend you use bone broth is to break a fast. Breaking fast is actually a very delicate period. People usually think that once they’ve interim fasting, they can just eat whatever they want. Well, that is somewhat the case, but you should break your frazzles and bone rock. It helps out a lot. The gelatin and bone broth is a hydrophilic colloid. What does that mean? It draws water into your intestinal drag and because it has so much in the way of collagen and gelatin, it helps support the mucosa layer.

Let’s take your bone broth then mix it up with a tablespoon of ghee, and a tablespoon of coconut oil and then add some spices if you want to then whip everything up in a magic bullet blender. It Frost up just like your keto coffee would, except, it’s a bone broth sort of latte! It tastes dang good and it’s perfect to do this right when you break a fast or for breakfast. The next way is using it as a meal replacement! Now, who would have thought, right? Bone broth works well as a meal placement if you are on a calorie-restricted diet! Here’s what I like to do. I like to keep my fats relatively high in the morning and then I keep them relatively high in the evening and usually lower my fat intake middle of the day. Let me give you the quick reasoning behind this.

You don’t need that much! One of my favourite thing to do is to make cauliflower fried rice! So, I take rice and cauliflower, put it in the skillet along with a little bit of ghee or a little bit of grass-fed butter then you go ahead and you add a couple of eggs or scramble the eggs first if you want to add the eggs like you would normal fried rice. You would then add 1/2 cup of bone broth to it once it starts to cook up a little bit. Let that simmer for some time!

Feel free to add additional spices or you can add whatever you want to the mix. If you want to add some Coconut Aminos to give it more of that Asian feel or that Asian flavour, then go for it! I usually add a little bit of slivered almonds or some peeling nuts or something like that to make it a little bit more of the full spectrum food that I’m looking for. The main point is to cook with it! Cook rice with it! Cook cauliflower rice with it! It adds a nice bold flavour that you normally wouldn’t get.

5. Drink Bone Broth Before Bed

Lastly, you can make a pre-bed concoction with it or just drink it before bed. One of the things that get overlooked a lot with bone broth is its high amount of glycine. Glycine ultimately puts you to sleep! Glycine cools the body. It forces vasodilation so it increases blood flow to specific areas of your body which therefore causes your body to cool down. When your body cools down it releases melatonin. Think about this interesting fact! When the Sun Goes Down and it cools down outside, then your body cools down as well! When your body cools down it knows to release melatonin which puts you to sleep.
